Haggins says that he is known to people as "Bad Luck" and bad things can happen to people even maybe if they slightly JUST think bad of him. "I am a very nice guy ,..very sweet,...VERY Meek,.... but if you fucking piss me off, I've got like built in voodoo in my DNA ,.... remember the old Twilight Zone episode from the 50's where there was like this talking Doll who you better be nice to ,..well ,..I'm like that (Laughs)" - All kidding aside, Haggins is a devout Christian who 'never misses church' AS they Say ,.. ,...quite unusual for the internet's Biggest Rock Star; "I clean Swimming Pools ,..which is a fucking lame job ,...its even lower than being Joe Dirt !! Going to Mass on Sunday is very humbling ,..its a very spirit uplifting experience though church does make me very bored,..the liturgy and creed and all that,..and then the Priest just rambling on ,..I would rather hear more conservative Tea Party type Priests who tell it like it is and cut out all the mealy mouth clutter,..of words,..that just gets in the way ,...if the priest sounded like Michael Savage or Mark Levin ,..I would love church and really never miss it !! I love listening to these wack-job right-wing nut cases on talk radio ,..because they are very sincere and tell it like it is ,..sorta like me,... they're total fucking angry hateful Douchebags,... I think that's fuckin' cool ,..its pure rare honesty ,..that is open.." Haggans says that one of his biggest influences growing up in Los Angeles was Tommy Lasorda,..the manager of the Dodgers,... "I Like Tommy Lasorda because he always speaks of goin' to church,..he is very holy and Prayerful ,..yet he drops F-Bombs at the drop of nothing ,..he's an angry bitter mother-effer,..yet he was skilled and talented at guiding that lame fucking team ,..that only won like two championships ,...and one of em' was cuzza Kirk Gibson.." Of course Haggans very favorite subject is HIMSELF and of course his band THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT; "I've done virtually all of this shit with G.e. all by myself,..very few people have helped me,...its hard work ,..but I've taken G.e. to the absolute Top" Says Haggins. "Star" is an explosive song along the lines of 1990's "Coke Snorting " which Haggans recorded along with Legendary internet Guitarist of California Phil Keegan (Dr. Phil); "We parted ways with Keegan and me and Ted just took G.e. in this whole new direction but people back in the South bay and Los Angeles say that early G.e. is the 'real" G.e. and the later years are an insulting travesty akin to Van Hagar,..(Laughs) ,..well, I don't think we were that bad" Says Haggins. HAGGANS says that he has struggled with Nightmares and Panic attacks all of his life; "Being the Last of 8 kids in a Big Torrance California Family was rough,.. I learned to Live with no respect and roll with the punches ,..I had few friends ,...I found comfort in communicating with God,...the Lord became like my best friend to talk to,...hey, we're all going to die someday" Says Haggans. Rock N Roll music and the Who, Rush, the Kinks, and David Bowie became Haggans passion and before long, G.e. was formed. The Greenhouse Effect prided themselves as a rare three piece hard rocking indie band but way back in the mid 80's with a very unique sound; "We wanted to be the biggest and the best,..the band that would change the world ,..and it never happened" Says Haggins "Lets just hope its finally happening now today " Hagins says that when he returns to the South bay Redondo Beach that often an adoring "crowd" will gather around him ,..wanting to talk stories of the old days and G.e : "It's like one very boring drunken and drug infested town by the beach ,..they got nothing to do but get high and revel in memories and I am like the only local celebrity ,..the only person from Redondo to ever meet Andy Griffith or some shit ,... and they'll be DAMNED,..if their gonna let that go !"- ROCK CITY PRODUCTIONS / BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS.
